Enjoy Your Pool in the Fall – Dive In Movie Night
Happy Fall, Y’all!
Cooler weather is finally here, but don’t close your pool just yet!
Over the next few months we are going to be bringing you fun ideas for how to enjoy your pool or spa in Fall and Winter.
Have a “Dive In” Movie Night
One of our favorite things to do by the pool when the weather starts to get cooler is have a “Dive In” Movie Night (or a Football Game Watch Party)!
To do this, here are the things you’ll need:
- Heat up the pool or spa
- Find a projector
- Make an outdoor projection screen
- Hook up your DVD or streaming player
- Make SNACKS
Heat Up the Pool or Spa
If you want to heat the pool for the party, we recommend that you begin heating at least 24 hours before; and if you are going to be using the spa, start heating at least an hour before to ensure maximum warmth.
Find a Projector
If you don’t have a projector, try borrowing one from a friend or church; or check out the vast selection on Amazon! It’s a small investment with a big return of fun!
Make an Outdoor Projection Screen
Do you have any white or light-colored bed sheets laying around? Use them to make a bed sheet projection screen! Watch this video for directions and inspiration.
Hook Up Your DVD or Streaming Player
Whether you’re watching your favorite movie or your favorite team play, you’ll want to make sure that your audio/ video are hooked up properly so that there are no technical difficulties at your party!
Make Snacks
