The Design Process
The design process is simple and painless. Simply stop by our office, pick up the phone, or send us an email and our staff will connect you with a designer that will guide you through each step; consultation, design, presentation, revision.
To begin this process and have a designer contact you, arrange a consultation.
The first step is what we call the consultation phase. After you have been connected to a designer, they will schedule a time to meet with you at your home to go over all of the possibilities for this project. In this collaboration, we will listen carefully to your ideas and will share some of ours as well. Pulling from our expertise, the design consultant will be able give you a general budget expectation based on the scope of the project discussed and the information to move forward in retaining our design services (design retainer is credited back upon execution of construction agreement).
The design phase is where we take the ideas discussed in the initial consultation and begin to create your dream backyard. You will not get a recycled design that has been presented to countless clients. Your needs are specific, so are our design concepts. Depending on the scope and detail of the project, this phase could take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks.
Once the design concept is complete, an appointment will be set to go over the project in our office. You will be able to view a 3D rendering of your project in great detail from every conceivable angle. Your project will come to life, as materials, lighting, landscape and personalized features will be represented. You will receive a detailed proposal for the project. We will discuss all details of the project, and possible revisions that need to be made.
